As the current flag of Karelian language speakers feature the bordered nordic cross, which is associated with the main religious denomination in Nordic Countries, Lutheranism, whearas most Karelian speakers were and are Eastern Orthodox in faith, there might be some sort of demand for a new flag for Karelian language speakers, here's my proposition:
