Sattuipa kerran, Tyynenmeren pohjoisosissa ja Kalliovuorilla, kehittymään eräänä keväänä poikkeuksellisen laaja ja lämmin korkeapaine. Tästä Amerikan asukkaat olivat tottakai tyytyväisiä, elikot saisivat varhain syödäkseen tuoretta ruohoa ja tulisivat lisääntymään hyvin. Elikot olivatkin vähenneet jo huomattavan paljon ja yleisesti tästä syytettiin ilmastoa. Kesästä tuli huomattavan lämmin ja kukaan ei kuollut nälkään, tai kylmyyteen, mitä silloin tällöin oli aiemmin tapahtunut. Syyskuussa Laurentidin jäätikön loppuosa romahti mereen, ja Lähi-Idässä keräiltiin elukoita veneisiin.
A bit of state of fear
Once upon, on the northern part of the Pacific and Rockies, a time, developed an exeptionally large and warm high. American residents were of course pleased of this, the beasts would have fresh grass early, and would procreate well. The beasts had already diminished quite much and the common consensus was blaming the climate. The summer was notably warm and no one died of hunger, or cold, that had occasionally previously happened. In september the rest of the Laurentide glacier dropped to the ocean and people started gathering beasts on boats in the middle east.
