did some stats on that and found out one may place a massive unknown volcano or two to 12th or 13th century, if one likes speculative history fiction.

oops, again an error, though not in the frequencies. if i continue on this it'll take a couple of days to correct htat one. it pays to read what is written on datasets.

no need to speculate, location of 1258AD eruption is uncertain, the event is found on both Antarctic and Greenland Ice cores. or maybe there were two near each other, this would explain the antarctic signal which is spread out way more than usual. (fallout there has happened over several years, maybe the initial explosion spread out over the whole globe)
